Uzbekistan Expands Strategic Technology Cooperation with Japan’s Sojitz

On 5 November, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade discussed strategic cooperation with Japan’s Sojitz Corporation across energy, infrastructure, healthcare, mining and industrial technology. Priority discussions included a 1,000 MW wind power plant, the new Tashkent International Airport and the Syrdarya-2 thermal power plant; individual project values were not disclosed.
